When money lands

Aug 1

Quarter 1 — renewing studentsYou had to be enrolled by June 15

Sep 1

Quarter 1 — new studentsYou had to be enrolled by July 15

Nov 1

Quarter 2Enrol by September 15

Feb 1

Quarter 3Enrol by December 15

Quarter 4Enrol by February 15

After the state releases each round it can take up to two weeks to reach every account, and you have to log in and approve the deposit before you can spend it.

Applying and renewing

Renewals: February 1 – April 30. A late renewal is treated as a brand-new application.
New applications, Private School and Unique Abilities: February 1 – November 15.
New applications, PEP: February 1 – April 30.
Switching into PEP from another program: complete by April 30.
You have 30 days after the deadline to accept or reject an award.
Private School families: confirm or decline by June 15 (renewal) or July 15 (new) to get full-year funding.

Spending deadlines

Pre-authorisation deadline: May 28, 2027. Anything that needs approving before you buy has to be through by then.
Transportation Stipend funds must be disbursed by December 15, 2026.
FES-UA interest posts October 31, January 31, April 30 and July 31.
Florida law caps an FES-UA balance at $50,000 — deposits that would push you past it are held.
